Measure straight across the top of the waistband. For the stretched measurement, this is the waistband at its maximum stretch. Lay flat and measure edge to edge; do not double the width.

Measure straight across the garment across the seat, below the hip point. Lay flat and measure edge to edge; do not double the width.

Measure straight across the leg, below the crotch seam. Lay flat and measure edge to edge; do not double the width.

From the top of the waistband at the centre front, down to the crotch seam.

From the top of the waistband at the centre back, down to the crotch seam.

Measure along the inside leg from the crotch seam to the hem.

Measure straight across the flared bottom of the leg opening. Lay flat and measure edge to edge; do not double the width.

Use a flexible measuring tape. Lay the item flat without stretching it, except where a stretched measurement is specified. Follow the instructions for each point.
